I had the pleasure of working with Jeff during my time as a Business Finance Co-op Student at the Treasury Board Secretariat. While I did not report to him directly, I had the opportunity to get to know Jeff through a Consulting Case Competition he organized for students my department. This initiative exemplified for me the commitment Jeff has to professional development and his willingness to support and engage with a variety of his team members. Jeff consistently made time for meaningful conversations and mentorship, and I always walked away from our discussions with a smile. Even after my co-op term ended, Jeff has remained a valued mentor whose guidance I truly appreciate. He has a genuine ability to positively impact those around him, is truly a selfless person, and I feel fortunate to have crossed paths with him, and I wish the same on others.

A leader and a learner — that’s the best way to describe Jeff. I had the pleasure of working with him during my co-op at the Ontario Public Service. While he wasn’t my direct manager, I had the opportunity to collaborate with him closely during a student case competition he organized. Working with Jeff was truly inspiring. He never treated me like “just a student” — my ideas were valued, and my input welcomed. He consistently guided us with his expertise while remaining open to new perspectives from everyone. His optimistic and encouraging approach fostered a positive and inclusive environment that made collaboration seamless and empowering. Everyone genuinely enjoys working with Jeff — he brings a contagious energy to every room. He’s the kind of person you walk away from a conversation with having learned something new, insightful, or uplifting. Jeff not only leads by example but also leaves a lasting impact on those around him.
